Officials of the Tangerang Regency of Indonesia visited the Las Piñas-Parañaque Wetland Park (LPPWP) on Thursday, 21 July 2022.
Led by Regent Zaki Iskandar, the team of local officials toured the wetland park to personally see how DENR National Capital Region, through its Protected Area Management Office (PAMO), manages the wetland park and undertakes the implementation of Integrated Coastal Management (ICM), mangrove rehabilitation, ecotourism, and community empowerment. Regent Iskandar came with his Executive Secretary, Maesyal Rasyid; Planning Agency head Taufik Emil; Environment & Hygiene head Achmad Taufik; PDAM Director Sofyan Sapar; and ICM Program Management Office Secretary Hari Mahardika. They were received by OIC Assistant Regional Director, Engr. Ignacio R. Almira, Jr., Protected Area Superintendent (PASU) Aleine Miranda, and LPPWP PAMO staff.
