Regional Executive Director Jacqueline A. Caancan, together with Assistant Regional Director for Management Services, Manuel T. Escasura, and some members of the DENR National Capital Region expanded management committee, met with staff and employees of the Pasig River Coordinating and Management Office (PRCMO) on Tuesday, 31 January 2023, to discuss operational issues and concerns in relation to the transfer and integration of the latter to the regional office.
Director Caancan assured PRCMO personnel of a smooth transition following her appointment as OIC Executive Director of the said office. The PRCMO is an office created under DENR Administrative Order No. 2020-02 to ensure the continuity of the plans and programs for the rehabilitation and development of the Pasig River System relative to the Manila Bay Rehabilitation Program.
