Officials and staff of the National Council for Children's Television (NCCT) Secretariat plant 350 Kawayan Bayog (𝘉𝘢𝘮𝘣𝘶𝘴𝘢 𝘴𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘰𝘴𝘢) at the La Mesa Water Reservation area in Quezon City on Friday, 17 June 2022. NCCT Executive Director Desideria M. Atienza led the activity as part of their climate change advocacy campaign and to celebrate Philippine Environment Month. The NCCT is a government office tasked with promoting and encouraging the production and broadcast of developmentally appropriate television programs for children and monitoring the implementation of Republic Act No. 8370 or "The Children's Television Act of 1997. DENR National Capital Region and the NCCT have recently signed a Memorandum of Agreement formalizing their partnership in the conduct of environmental activities.
