DENR National Capital Region Regional Executive Director Jacqueline A. Caancan led induction and oath-taking ceremonies for new officers and trustees of the Water Environment Association of the Philippines, Inc. (WEAP) in a virtual ceremony held on Tuesday, 25 January 2022. Director Caancan was invited by WEAP to be its guest of honor and inducting officer.
WEAP is a Philippine registered non-profit, non-stock organization established to provide practicing professionals with the information and tools necessary to address environmental protection in the Philippines. WEAP has been an active partner of DENR in the implementation of its plans, projects, and activities in relation to the protection of water resources.
