DENR Undersecretary for Solid Waste Management and Local Government Units for the distribution of rolling trashbins

DENR Undersecretary for Solid Waste Management and Local Government Units Concerns Benny D. Antiporda and Assistant Secretary for Local Government Units Concerns Jesus Enrico Moises B. Salazar led the distribution of rolling trashbins for select barangays in District 2, Manila City on Monday, 3 February 2020.

A total of 41 barangays received the trash bins from Usec. Antiporda and Asec. Salazar in a ceremony held at the TESDA office in Tayuman, Manila.

Representatives from the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Policy and Planning Corazon C. Davis and DENR-NCR West Field Office assisted in the activity.

The distribution of the trash bins is part of DENR's project entitled "Sama-samang Pagkilos, Ilog Pasig maisasaayos". meant to assist barangays in raising awareness on the importance of solid waste management and in the on-going implementation of the #BattleForManilaBay.
