DENR Acting Secretary Jim O. Sampulna visited the Manila Bay Dolomite Beach at Baywalk Area on Friday, 11 March 2022, to check on the progress made in the development of the area. The secretary was accompanied by DENR National Capital Region
Regional Executive Director Jacqueline A. Caancan; EMB-NCR Director, Atty. Michael Drake P. Matias; and Metropolitan Environmental Office-West Director Rodelina Mendoza-De Villa. Officials from the DENR central office also joined the ocular inspection. Sec. Sampulna made the commitment late last February of this year to make the area “safe for swimming, boating, and other forms of contact recreation.”
