DENR Secretary Roy A. Cimatu warmly receives top officials of DENR National Capital Region led by Regional Executive Director Jacqueline A. Caancan CESO III, and her Assistant Regional Directors; Gwendolyn C. Bambalan, DPA (Management Services); and Engr. Ignacio R. Almira, Jr. (Technical Services) during the New Year's Call activity held on Friday, 03 January 2020 at the Social Hall of DENR Central Office in Visayas Avenue, Quezon City.
The New Year's Call activity is an occasion for Secretary Cimatu to report the accomplishments of the agency for the year that was and his marching orders to all DENR officials and employees for the coming year. In his speech, the Secretary reiterated the agency's top priority programs (i.e., clean air, clean water, solid waste management, and the cleanup of Manila Bay, among others) and exhorted everyone to exert all efforts to achieve set targets and standards.
Also in attendance are officials of other DENR regional offices, bureaus, and attached agencies.
