Officials and employees of DENR National Capital Region attend a writeshop on Integrated Management System (IMS) at Verjandel Hotel in Quezon City on 28 November 2022.
The regional office is currently reviewing and updating its IMS compliance mechanisms and processes in preparation for its ISO certification renewal and synchronization with the Quality Management System (QMS) standards of the DENR Central Office. DENR National Capital Region is the first regional office of the DENR to secure triple ISO certification on QMS (ISO: 90001: 2015), Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001: 2015), and Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (ISO 45001: 2018) under the leadership of 2022 EAGLE awardee Regional Executive Director Jacqueline A. Caancan. She said the ISO certifications are a testament to the commitment of DENR National Capital Region to provide the public with quality service.
