DENR National Capital Region Regional Executive Director Jacqueline A. Caancan, together with Assistant Regional Director for Management Services Manuel T. Escasura, and some members of the expanded Regional Management Committee visited and inspected some of the properties and assets of the Pasig River Coordinating and Management Office (PRCMO) on Thursday, 2 February 2023.
Director Caancan made the visit to assess the condition of the subject facilities and aid the management in reviewing and reprogramming the PRMCO work plan for 2023. Director Caancan was recently designated as OIC Executive Director of the PRCMO and, in her initial meeting with the office staff and field workers, assured everyone would be rehired. “We only need to review our targets and indicators to ensure that PRCMO is working in accordance with Executive Order No. 93, s. 2019 and DENR Administrative Order No. 2020-02 and avoid duplication and overlapping of tasks and functions”, the director explained. She visited the facilities of PRCMO at Baseco, Lawton, and Estero de Magdalena in Manila City.
