DENR National Capital Region Regional Executive Director Jacqueline A. Caancan, CESO III and Assistant Regional Director for Management Services Gwendloyn C. Bambalan, PhD, met with Civil Service Commission (CSC) DENR Field Office Director II, Fe P. Lacaba on Thursday, 6 February 2020, to discuss the PRIME-HRM Level II accreditation of the regional office.

PRIME-HRM or the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management is a mechanism introduced by the CSC to empower government agencies through the development of their human resource management competencies, systems, and practices toward HR excellence.

Members of the regional HRDC, HRMPSB, PMT and PRIME HRM Committee were also in attendance as Dir. Lacaba explained the process of accreditation and what it means to the public. As PRIME-HRM measures the level of maturity of an organization, it serves as a good indicator of the level of its responsiveness to the service demands of all stakeholders.
