Technical staff from the Manila Bay Site Coordinating and Management Office (MBSCMO) of DENR National Capital Region, together with River Protection Officers (RPOs) of the DENR Metropolitan Environmental Offices (MEOs) for the North, East, South, and West sector or Metro Manila conducted a joint inspection of the proposed route for mobile monitoring activities for the Malabon-Navotas-Tullahan-Tinajeros (MANATUTI), Pasig-Marikina-San Juan (PAMARISAN), and Muntinlupa-Parañaque-Las Piñas-Zapote (MUNTIPARLASPIZAP) River Systems. DENR National Capital Region is reinforcing its river monitoring activities by deploying three (3) roving vans to collect and respond immediately to reports on garbage accumulation or violations in all 3 river systems of the region. The activity is in line with the ongoing cleanup and rehabilitation efforts of Manila Bay.
