DENR National Capital Region Assistant Regional Director for Technical Services Engr. Ignacio R. Almira, Jr. renewed the commitment and support of the regional office to the tree planting project of the Maynilad Water Services, Inc. (MWSI) during the kickoff ceremony for its "Plant for Life 2023: Road to 1 Millionth Tree” activity on Thursday, 14 July 2022, at the La Mesa Water Reservation area in Quezon City.
Assistant Director Almira joined officials of the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS), Maynilad and other volunteer groups in the kickoff ceremony and tree planting activity. “La Mesa and Manila Bay need to be protected and we’re glad that we have reliable partners in the effort”, Almira said.
