As part of its closing activities for the celebration of Month of the Ocean 2022, DENR National Capital Regional organized and facilitated an educational tour for selected employees of the regional office and their children at the Manila Ocean Park last May 31, 2022. A total of thirty-two (32) participants joined the learning activity. They earned their chance to participate in the tour by attending the Month of the Ocean webinar that the Regional Strategic Communication and Initiatives Group (RSCIG) and Coastal Resource and Foreshore Management Section (CRFMS) organized last 18 May 2022. The tour aims to educate the participants on the importance of marine ecosystems and encourage their active engagement in efforts to protect and conserve our environment and natural resources. The activity was conducted in partnership with the Manila Ocean Park.
