DENR National Capital Region meets with Mayor Olivarez on Rapid Land Tenure Appraisal (RLTA).
Survey and Control Section Chief Engr. Veronica A. Remolar met with Parañaque City Mayor Edwin C. Olivarez, on Thursday, 20 February 2020 to discuss the pilot implementation of RLTA in the 16 barangays of the city.
The RLTA is an accelerated land titling strategy that aims to obtain a clearer and visual picture of the land tenure situation in each barangay. It consists of determining the number of workable lots in the barangay and whether these can be titled or not.
With the aide of a Consolidated Cadastral map (CCM)--a digital map showing all the lots in a barangay based on approved survey records and other reliable reference for parcel information-- the RLTA will expedite the process of land titling and awarding of lots to qualified applicants.
