DENR National Capital Region through its West Field Office (WFO) led the clean-up activity at Estero de Tripa de Gallina in Barangay 190, Zone 20, District I, Pasay City.

Fifty-five (55) sacks of solid waste composed of plastics, wood materials, household wastes, and fabrics were collected from the waterway. Joining the WFO are representatives from the Pasay City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO), Estero Rangers, and Barangay officials.

Clearing operations along the easement were conducted simultaneously with the clean-up drive held in the area. The activity is part of the ongoing Manila Bay Rehabilitation Program, and the DENR led an inter-agency effort to restore water quality in Manila Bay following the Writ of Continuing Mandamus of the Supreme Court.
