DENR National Capital Region OIC Enforcement Division chief Maricar Puno-Sanchez (seated, fourth from right) joined the Training on Advanced Wildlife Investigation Techniques organized by the DENR Biodiversity Management Bureau in partnership with the United Nations Office on Drugs & Crime (UNODC).
The learning event was held at the Hilton Clark Sun Valley Resort in Pampanga last November 7-12, 2022 and participated by representatives from the DENR Environmental Law Enforcement and Protection Service (ELEPS); its regional offices in Regions 3, 7, and 12; the Palawan Council for Sustainable Development (PCSD); Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR); Bureau of Customs (Manila and Cebu); and the Philippine National Police (PNP) Maritime Regional Unit 3. The activity was organized to strengthen the capacity of participating offices on investigation techniques, particularly open-source investigation, and controlled delivery.
