DENR National Capital Region holds a learning event on Competency Based System (CBS) and Individual Development Plan (IDP) on Thursday, 20 February 2020.
The learning event was facilitated by Ms. Angelita Tolentino and Mr. Carlo Velasco of the Human Resource Department-Training and Development Division of DENR Central Office. They guided the participants on the objectives and process of formulating learning and individual development plan.
The lecture focused on identifying and addressing the gaps between the required and actual level of competencies of DENR employees. The results will serve as basis for employee evaluation, development and training needs and foundation for career mapping.
Assistant Regional Director for Management Services, Gwendolyn C. Bambalan led the activity and provided insights and valuable inputs to the participants which included Division and Section Chiefs and heads of the different units of the regional office.
The activity is in line with the directive of Regional Executive Director Jacqueline A. Caancan to professionalize and assist DENR National Capital Region employees in meeting their full potential as public servants.
