DENR National Capital Region, through its regional GAD Focal Point System (GFPS), held a 2-day strategic planning workshop on Gender Sensitivity and Gender Mainstreaming on April 28-29, 2022 in Quezon City.
The learning activity was facilitated by GAD Specialists Reina P. Olivar and Jemelle Milanes and attended by GFPS members. Likewise in attendance are Assistant Regional Directors Manuel T. Escasura (Management Services) and Engr. Ignacio R. Almira Jr. (Technical Services); Administrative Division Chief Jan Bautista; Finance Division Chief Erlinda Daquigan; and, OIC Planning and Management Division Chief Albina L. Pineda.
The workshop was organized to update GFPS members on the latest GAD-related policies and issuances and provide guidance on crafting participatory and empowering work programs, particularly in the design of projects and activities under the Manila Bay Rehabilitation Program and Urban Greening Program of the regional office.
