DENR National Capital Region organizes a guided tour to the Manila Bay Dolomite Beach area and the Las Piñas-Parañaque Wetland Park (LPPWP) for representatives of the 17 local government units of Metro Manila on April 26 and 27, 2022.
The tour was done in two batches, with representatives from the city governments of Marikina, Pasig, Makati, Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas, Valenzuela and Quezon on 26 April; and the city governments of San Juan, Mandaluyong, Manila, Muntinlupa, Taguig, Pasay, Las Piñas, Parañaque, and Municipality of Pateros the following day, 27 April 2022. The tour was facilitated by the Manila Bay Site Coordinating and Management Office (MBSCMO) with assistance from the DENR Metropolitan Environmental Office-West and the LPPWP Protected Area Management Board. The tour highlighted the progress made in the rehabilitation of Manila Bay and developments in LPPWP.
