DENR National Capital Region held an online General Assembly meeting on Monday, 31 January 2022 to update and appraise all officials and employees on the overall thrust of the organization for the new year.
The meeting was led by Regional Executive Director Jacqueline A. Caancan, along with her Assistant Regional Directors Al O. Orolfo for Management Services and Engr. Ignacio R. Almira, Jr. for Technical Services. Representatives of the DENR Employees Association (DNEA) and DENR-NCR Cooperative also attended the meeting to discuss employee rights and benefits. Close to 300 permanent and Contract of Service employees participated in the activity.
During the meeting, Director Caancan assured the attendees of continuous management support to efforts aimed at improving employee welfare, especially during the pandemic. “Our triple ISO certification and PRIME HRM Level 2 accreditation is proof that management is working hard to promote the health and well-being of all our employees”, Director Caancan said.
