The Manila Bay Site Coordinating Management Office (MBSCMO) facilitates conduct of the third quarter Assessment and Planning Workshop of the management committee for the Malabon-Navotas-Tullahan-Tinajeros (MANATUTI) River System in Valenzuela City on 14 September 2022. The activity was held to discuss the accomplishments of member LGUs on solid and liquid waste, informal settler families and easement recovery, and habitat and resources in the river system. The MANATUTI River System is one of the three major river systems of the National Capital Region or Metro Manila; the waterways within the system drain the northern part of the region. The MANATUTI RMC, along with the RMC for PAMARISAN and MUNTIPARLASPIZAP, was established by DENR National Capital Region to provide a venue for stakeholders to discuss and coordinate the implementation of plans and programs under the Operational Plan for Manila Bay Coastal Strategy (OPMBCS).
