DENR National Capital Region through its North Field Office (NFO) continued its daily cleanup activities at Pinagsabugan Creek, Brgy. Longos, Malabon City. The waterway, a tributary of the Tullahan River, is a small open drainage canal that stretches close to 600 meters long. It drains parts of Barangay Longos and is connected to Letre Creek which drains to Barangays Tonsuya and Tugatog that is also located in Malabon City.

DENR National Capital Region, through its Manila Bay Site Coordinating/Management Office (MBSCMO), has installed a floating trash trap in Pinagsabugan Creek to prevent trash and debris from reaching Tullahan River and Manila Bay. The regional office is leading cleanup and rehabilitation efforts for waterways in Metro Manila that drain directly into Manila Bay.
