The DENR National Capital Region, through its Manila Bay Site Coordinating/Management Office (MBSCMO), conducted training on Geotagging for members of the Habitat and Resources Management Cluster of the River Management Committees (RMCs) of Metro Manila on Tuesday, 26 July 2022, at the Century Hall of Quezon Memorial Circle in Quezon City.
Participants were introduced to the uses and importance of the geotagging application to their task of documenting and monitoring the status of habitats and resources within their respective areas of jurisdiction. They were also oriented on the use of basic mapping tools like Google Earth Pro, My Tracks, and Timestamp Camera application. The activity was conducted in line with the ongoing cleanup and rehabilitation of Manila Bay.
