DENR NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION CONDUCTS CLEANUP IN NAVOTAS CENTENNIAL PARK

_{DENR National Capital Region through its North Field Office (NFO) conducted a regular cleanup on the shores of Navotas Centennial Park, Barangay Bagumbayan North, Navotas City on Thursday, 8 October 2020.}

_{Led by NFO Deputy Chief Environmental Officer Olga O. Arzadon, the team composed of NFO personnel and Estero Rangers assigned in the area, removed fifty (50) sacks of mixed solid wastes from the shores.}

_{The Navotas Centennial Park sits right at the mouth of Tullahan River to Manila Bay and trash coming from the upstream portions of the waterway usually ends up on its shores.}

_{Regional Executive Director Jacqueline A. Caancan has ordered all four field offices of the regional office, together with the Estero Rangers, to conduct regular coastal cleanups while observing public health protocols.}
