DENR National Capital Region, through its South Field Office (SFO) and Coastal Resource and Foreshore Management Section (CRFMS), conducted a cleanup on the shores of the Las Pinas-Paranaque Wetland Park (LPPWP).
Regional Executive Director Jacqueline A. Caancan has ordered the SFO to conduct daily cleanups in LPPWP and Barangay Don Galo in Paranaque City to help reduce the volume of trash in Manila Bay. The DENR is leading efforts to clean, rehabilitate, and make the waters of Manila Bay safe and fit for swimming and other recreational activities.
