DENR National Capital Region conducted a series of learning events for its employees from November 22-25, 2022 at the Linden Suites in Pasig City.
The participants were instructed on Valuation of Urban Ecosystem Services as Nature-based solution and Specialized Learning on Technical Services. 31 employees attended the first training (consisting 14 males and 17 females) while 41 employees benefited from the second training (24 males and 17 females).
The training, according to Assistant Regional Director for Management Services, Manuel T. Escasura, aims to acquaint employees on the different services provided by the office. “We need employees who are well-rounded and knowledgeable of the many aspects of our work as public servants in the environment sector”, ARD Escasura said. “These set of trainings and the ones we have in store for the coming year are designed to do just that, to develop employees who are well-versed with the tasks and functions of DENR National Capital Region as an organization, with the end goal of improving our delivery of service to the public”, he added.
