DENR National Capital Region, represented by personnel from the Manila Bay Site Coordinating/Management Office (MBSCMO), Conservation and Development Division-Coastal Resource and Foreshore Management Section (CDD-CRFMS), Licenses, Patents and Deeds Division (LPDD), Legal Division (LD), Regional Strategic Communication and Initiatives Group (RSCIG), and Metropolitan Environmental Office-North (MEO-North) conducted a cleanup at Block 1 of Tanza Marine Tree Park in Barangay Tanza Uno, Navotas City on 11 August 2022.
The cleanup team was able to recover 1 sack of plastic bottles, 1 sack of rubber materials, 5 sacks of foam polystyrene (food and beverage packaging material), and 22 sacks of assorted wastes. The activity was conducted in line with the ongoing cleanup and rehabilitation of Manila Bay.
