DENR NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION CONDUCTED QUARTERLY BIRD MONITORING ACTIVITY AT TMTP

DENR National Capital Region, through its Coastal Resources and Foreshore Management Section (CRFMS) conducted its quarterly bird monitoring activity at the Tanza Marine Tree Park in Navotas City. Led by CRFMS OIC Chief Justin de Ramos, the monitoring team identified, counted, and recorded the number of migratory and resident birds of TMTP. TMTP is a 2.1-kilometer strip of mangrove forest facing Manila Bay north of Metro Manila. It is one of the known birding sites in Metro Manila and is frequented by birds migrating from the northern hemisphere using the East Asian-Austral Asian Flyway.
