DENR National Capital Region conducted a cleanup activity at the Tanza Marine Tree Park in Barangay Tanza Uno, Navotas City last week. Participants of the activity included representatives from the Conservation and Development Division-Coastal Resource and Foreshore Management Section (CDD-CRFMS), Manila Bay Site Coordinating/Management Office (MBSCMO), Legal Division (LD), Licenses, Patents and Deeds Division (LPDD), Surveys and Mapping Division (SMD), Regional Strategic Communication and Initiatives Group (RSCIG), and Metropolitan Environmental Office-North (NMEO). A total of seventy (70) sacks of assorted trash—composed mostly of plastic packaging—were recovered from the shore.
