DENR National Capital Region, through its Human Resources Development Section (HRDS), co-hosted the conduct of the Career Executive Leadership Series (CELS) of the DENR Association of Career Executives (DENR-ACE) on November 20 to 22, 2022 at Park Inn by Radisson North EDSA in Quezon City.
The 3-day activity, organized under the theme “Forging our Future: Synergy. Stewardship. Sustainability”, gathered all the Career Executive Service Officers (CESOs) and Career Executive Service Eligibles (CESEs) of the Department for a series of trainings and discussions on emerging trends and issues on governance and development, as well as the latest issuances from the Career Service Executive Board (CESB). Regional Executive Director Jacqueline A. Caancan, CESO III, chaired the session entitled “Thinking Agile with a Heart of a Servant Leader” together with session speaker Juan M. Roy, HR/OD Consulting Head of the Nomura Research Institute (NRI) Singapore-Manila Branch. Celebrated educator and environmental policy expert Atty. Antonio Gabriel Maestrado Laviña delivered the keynote address while DENR Secretary Maria Antonia Yulo Loyzaga capped the learning event with her inspirational message and way forward for the career executives of the organization.
