DENR-NCR Regional Executive Director Jacqueline A. Caancan, CESO III, and Schools Division Office of Navotas City Superintendent Alejandro G. Ibañez, CESO VI, signed a Memorandum of Agreement on Urban Greening on Wednesday, 18 May 2022.
Under the agreement, DENR National Capital Region will provide planting materials and technical assistance to public schools in Navotas City. SDO-Navotas City, for its part, will oversee the management and development of green spaces within its jurisdiction and assist the regional office in its urban greening efforts and conduct of environmental information, education and communication activities.
