DENR National Capital Region and Culiat High School signed a Memorandum of Agreement on Monday, 06 February 2023 at the Manila Bay Operation Center, National Ecology Center in Quezon City.
Regional Executive Director Jacqueline A. Caancan signed the MOA for the regional office while Work Immersion Focal Ruth Salazar signed for the learning institution. The agreement centers on the in-office training of K-12 students and acquaints them with the actual work and function of DENR National Capital Region.
Director Caancan thanked the school for choosing DENR National Capital Region as its partner in providing their students with a holistic learning experience. She said she is hopeful that the program will inspire the students to pursue a career in public service and environmental advocacy. Assistant Regional Directors Manuel T. Escasura (Management Services) and Engr. Ignacio R. Almira, Jr. (Technical Services), Administrative Division chief Jan S. Bautista, and Human Resources Development Section (HRDS) chief Heracleo D. Lagrada, Jr. witnessed the signing ceremony.
