The DENR Metropolitan Environmental Office-West (MEO-West) organized a learning activity for residents of Barangay Tejeros in Makati City on Wednesday, 10 August 2022.
The activity was led by Forester Rodelina M. De Villa, MEO-West OIC Director, and participated by Punong Barangay Wilfredo S. Leonardo, Kagawad Michael Camposano, and representatives of the Department of Environmental Services (DES) of Makati City. MEO-West personnel took turns discussing important environmental laws and issues for residents of Barangay Tejeros. The activity was conducted to help increase public awareness about the ongoing cleanup of Manila Bay, inspire positive behavior change of community members towards solid and liquid waste management, and in keeping their waterways clean and surroundings green.
