The DENR Metropolitan Environmental Office-West (MEO-West) and Estero Rangers led a cleanup at Estero de Maypad in Barangay 135, Tondo, Manila, on Thursday, 26 January 2023.
The activity resulted in the recovery of 98 sacks of mixed solid waste from the waterway, an open drainage canal connected to Estero de Sunog Apog, and Navotas River. The cleanup was undertaken in line with the ongoing implementation of the Manila Bay Rehabilitation Program.
