DENR Metropolitan Environmental Office-West led a cleanup of Estero de Provisor in Barangay 661, Ermita, Manila on Thursday, 05 May 2022. They were joined by Estero Rangers assigned to the area and, together, removed a total of 532 sacks of water hyacinths and trash from the waterway. Estero de Provisor, along with adjacent Estero de Balete and Estero de Tanque, drains water to Manila Bay via the Pasig River. The cleanup was conducted in support of the ongoing implementation of the Manila Bay Rehabilitation Program.
