DENR Metropolitan Environmental Office-North partners with the City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) of Navotas in organizing coastal cleanup to celebrate Philippine Environment Month. Held on the coast of Barangay Bagumbayan-North, Navotas City on Saturday, 25 June 2022.
The activity was participated by volunteers from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), Philippine Navy, PNP Maritime Police Unit, Bureau of Fire Protection (BFF), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), Bagumbayan North Boy Scouts, Sangguniang Kabataan Navotas, and Samahan ng Simbahan. The participants were able to remove 500 sacks of mixed solid wastes from the shore.
