After an hour of trash picking and sorting, the beach area of Tanza Marine Tree Park (TMTP) in Navotas City showed significant improvement, thanks to the efforts of volunteers from WeLoveU Foundation—a non-government organization—and other groups that conducted a cleanup drive on Thursday morning, 9 June 2022 to celebrate World Environment Day and Philippine Environment Month. The activity resulted in the recovery of 683 sacks of assorted trash, 21 sacks of plastic bottles, 7 sacks of rubber slippers, and 7 sacks of styrofoam.
