DENR National Capital Region opens its West Metro Manila Field Office

Following the issuance of DENR Administrative Order No. 2019-02, mandating the creation of four (4) Field Offices of the DENR in the National Capital Region (NCR), the West Metro Manila Field Office (WMMFO) formally opened its doors to the public on Tuesday, 12 February 2019.

DENR Undersecretary for Field Operations, Atty. Juan Miguel T. Cuna and DENR National Capital Region Regional Executive Director Jacqueline A. Caancan led the ribbon cutting ceremony which was witnessed by former DENR Undersecretary Demetrio L. Ignacio, Jr., and DENR National Capital Region management team.

Likewise present are the EMB National Capital Region Regional Director Atty. Domingo M. Clemente, Jr., and Assistant Regional Directors for Management Services and Technical Services of DENR MIMAROPA, Natividad Y. Bernardino and Vicente B. Tuddao, Jr. respectively.

The creation of 4 field offices aims to strengthen the enforcement of environment and natural resources (ENR) laws and promote focused and area-based operations. It intends to bring the programs, projects, and services of the regional office closer to the public.

The WMMFO will serve the cities of Manila, San Juan, Mandaluyong, Makati and Pasay.

Located at the 10th Flr of 1515 L & S Building in Ermita Manila, the WMMFO will also house the sub-field office for the Manila Bay Rehabilitation Program.
